Ashland Rocks! 2019 Gem Show


Scolecite300wideWe are very excited to host the eighth Annual Ashland Rocks! Gem & Mineral Show. The 2019 show will be held at Wesley Hall, at the First United Methodist Church of Ashland, near downtown Ashland, Oregon, on August 31st and September 1st. The previous year’s shows have been great successes, and in 2019 we will again feature a select group of extraordinary dealers, with items ranging from fine quality crystals and minerals to incredible fossils, fabulous hand-crafted jewelry and exotic natural stone beads. carnelianbeadsonwhiteThere is plenty of free parking for the gem show in the lot behind the Hall. An entrance fee of $2.00 for adults supports the show. Children 12 and under are free.

Gerry and Roxanne Few, of Mountain Minerals, with varietal petrified woods, Virgin Valley precious opals, and hand crafted burlwood stands.

Dan Clarke, of Pine Tree Jewelry, and member of the Lithia Artisans Guild, with silver and gemstone pendants, and unique silver engraving.

Joa Lila will have a fine selection of larimar jewelry, as well as worldwide crystals and minerals.

C-Jem will bring a very nicely priced, and wide selection of crystals, minerals, and fossils.

Kelly’s Treasures will feature very nice quality lapidary materials, minerals, facetting materials, and a great selection of rings and other jewelry. 

Tara Bergstrand will showcase her collection of fine quality Madagascar ammonites, celestite, rose quartz, polychrome jaspers, labradorite, and other lovely lapidary materials. 

Jim Davidge of Mt. Shasta will showcase Fine Australian Opals.

Local Ashland Oregon rock shop owner Todd Higgins, will bring meteorites, as well as choice specimens from his extensive collection at his Flower of Life Crystal Gallery

Lapidary artist Jessica VandeWater of Shady Cove, Oregon displays hand crafted earrings, and pendants, as well as slabs, cabochons, lapidary rough, and some tasteful imported jewelry. 

 

In 2012, we were grateful to the First United Methodists of Ashland, for generating proceeds from concessions that went to support the work of Paul Jeffrey. Jeffrey travels the world, documenting crises and the efforts to manage them. Charities worldwide benefit from his honest and detailed reports, and his photography tells the immediate stories of the peoples affected.
